A-1 LifelikeTM 3/8" Compost
A-1 Lifelike 3/8” Compost is a blend of horse bedding shavings and manure. This blend is then composted under strict standards of Title 14 of the California Integrated Waste Management Regulations. Our compost has been through pathogen reduction by composting at temperatures above 132 degrees Fahrenheit for up to six months with frequent turning. Our compost is shipped to a third party laboratory to ensure our product is below heavy metal and pathogen limits established by the CIWMB Title 14.

Native Forest Mulch
Native Forest Mulch is an economical alternative to more costly decorative barks. This mulch is comprised of local tree and landscaping trimmings that is screened to a 1 1/2” minus*. It has a combination of light and dark wood with some pine and eucalyptus which gives Native Forest Mulch a nice fragrance. Native Forest Mulch is ideal for mulching under shrubs and trees. Native Forest Mulch helps to conserve water, lower soil temperature, and reduce weed growth.

A-1 Bedding Mulch
A-1 Bedding Mulch (Organic Fines) is an economical alter-native to more costly decorative barks. This mulch is comprised of local tree and landscaping trimmings that are screened through a 1/2” minus screen. A-1 Bedding Mulch also has a combination of light and dark wood with some pine and eucalyptus which gives A-1 Bedding Mulch a nice fragrance. When using A-1 Bedding Mulch for mulching under shrub, trees or on top of garden beds., it helps to conserve water, lower soil temperature, and reduce weed growth. As a soil amendment, A-1 Bedding Mulch has an acidic PH and high organic content, making it an excellent amendment for native soils.

O.G.C Walk On Bark
O.G.C/Walk on Bark is a blend of 1”-3” Shredded Douglas Fir & Pine Bark, containing some Cambium Wood (the inner layer next to the bark). O.G.C. has a rich, reddish brown color that naturally has a nice forest fragrance. O.G.C. is also referred to as “Walk on Bark” when used on pathways. This bark lays flat when compacted down making it easy to walk on. O.G.C. is a colorful and decorative mulch for walkways and planting areas. It can also be used to control erosion. When used as a mulch, it helps to conserve water, lower soil temperature and reduce weed growth.
1/4" Coarse Fir Bark
1/4” Coarse Fir Bark is a 1/8”-3/8” mixture consisting of Flat Screened Douglas Fir & Pine Bark Nuggets. The composition of 1/4” Coarse Fir Bark can also be equivalent to an Orchid Bark. 1/4” Coarse Fir Bark has a reddish brown color and also produces a nice forest fragrance. 1/4” Coarse Fir Bark can also be used as a component in planter or potting mixes.

Small Deco Bark
Small Deco Bark is an attractive blend of Douglas Fir & Pine Bark. The bark nuggets are a rich brownish-red color that range in 1/2” to 1” in size, and also has a fresh forest fragrance. Small Deco Bark is recommended for use as mulch in a medium to large planting area. It can also be used as a general ground cover for a colorful finished look to bare ground. Shredded Redwood (Gorilla Hair)
Shredded Redwood Bark or commonly referred to as “Gorilla Hair” is comprised of 100% redwood. Shredded Redwood Bark is given the nick name “Gorilla Hair” due to it’s stringy and fibrous appearance resembling the hair of a Gorilla.
